2. NSS 2023: LJMU delivering an excellent student experience

   LJMU has performed well in the National Student Survey (NSS) 2023. The Office for Students (OfS) has published the survey results, which paint a positive picture of the LJMU student experience, while helping us to identify some areas for improvement.

3. LJMU launches University Funded Diversity and Inclusion Scheme

   LJMU is providing grants to academic staff, students, and professional services staff, to work on research across the university related to Diversity and Inclusion.

   After struggling with his own mental health issues, LJMU graduate Philip Bridges was determined to help others access free support that works

5. LJMU fashion and broadcast staff raise career aspirations of local schoolchildren

   Cathy Reilly, fashion design and manufacture technologist, and Bradley Hessey, an experienced broadcast technologist , joined schoolchildren from St Leo’s School in Whiston during their Ambition Week.

6. Milestone for National Schools' Observatory

   Secondary school pupils in Swindon, studying a supernova which exploded almost a 1,000 years ago, have entered the history books by requesting the 100,000th image from the National Schools’ Observatory (NSO).

7. £5m boost towards region’s green economy

   More businesses in the Liverpool City Region could benefit as a low carbon business support programme led by Liverpool John Moores University has received a £5m boost.

   Join a week of online events and workshops from Monday 21 to Friday 25 October.

9. Knowsley Parent Power group visit LJMU

   The outreach team, in collaboration with Shaping Futures and The Brilliant Club welcomed the Knowsley Parent Power group onto campus to experience Higher Education and university life.

10. Training materials now available on Canvas for CourseLoop

    The CourseLoop Canvas resource has short video guides on how to get started in addition to information if you require additional help and support.
