The Astrophysics Research Institute is interested in star formation, stellar evolution, time-domain astrophysics, galaxy formation and clusters, dynamics and evolution. Our aim is to become an internationally recognised centre of excellence in astrophysics. Pharmacy and biomolecular scientists use state-of-the-art facilities in the Life Sciences Building which is equipped for drug dispensing, scene of crime forensic studies, DNA analysis, spectroscopic studies, and much more.
