1. Launch of MSc Emergency Care module

   The universitys new and innovative MSc Emergency Care module has been well received, with more than 200 stakeholders, leaders and healthcare professionals attending the launch symposium.

2. ICC Head of Research invited to join AHRC Peer Review College 2020-23

   Following a competitive nomination process, LJMU's Kerry Wilson has been invited by the Arts and Humanities Research Council to join its academic Peer Review College.

3. We know more about relationships now than we knew before 

   A collaboration with pupils and staff at St Vincent's school and funded by Children in Need Janette Porter and Kay Standing from Sociology, supported by LJMU placement students

4. New institute driving education research

   A new institute established by Liverpool John Moores University will drive forward world-leading, impactful research in education locally, nationally and internationally.

5. New support for staff development

   The university will shortly be introducing a new system to support you in recording and tracking performance and development conversations.

6. New library services website launched

   The LJMU Library website has had a major refresh over summer and has launched this week ready for the new academic year.

7. New LJMU professors and readers

   LJMU has confirmed a number of new professors and readers following a rigorous process.

8. New Academic Achievement teaching resources

   Each of these resources is a standalone academic skills class accompanied by a full lesson plan with teaching notes.

9. New website course search function

   This week marks the launch of an exciting new development to our website. A project group have been working with an external agency (Sagittarius) to improve the course search function.

10. New Forensic Research Institute launched

    LJMU has launched a new Forensic Research Institute (FORRI) to support and enhance the criminal justice system.
