   Lots of great work has gone into the Faculty’s Canvas courses (modules) this summer and it has been a real pleasure to see them take shape.

   We would like to announce the first in a series of Faculty TEL (technology enhanced learning) forum meetings starting Tuesday 23rd May 2017.

   Last month staff were given access to Office 365. This resource includes web based versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

   A post exploring Buddycheck and Canvas Peer Review and how they can be used for implementing peer feedback on your courses

8. Sharing Practice – Screencasts and role-play to support distance taught students

   For six years this faculty has been running a distance taught programme in Athens which straddles the two notions of distance and face to face teaching.

9. Sharing Practice – Flipped learning

   This week Chris Mackintosh and Milly Blundell have generously agreed to share their experiences of delivering a module using a flipped learning methodology.

10. LJMU in the Community

    LJMU in the Community is an outreach initiative based in the community of L8 designed to support access to Higher Education through student-led sessions, talks and events, as well as tailored admissions, personal statement and student finance support.
