A new scheme, Positive Action Training (PAT), helping local people of colour enter employment at LJMU has been launched by the Vice-Chancellor (interim).
As the university strives for equality, diversity and inclusion, more women are particularly encouraged to apply for the available roles in Readership and Professorship, as they are underrepresented at these levels.
The Men’s Staff Network will provide a space for colleagues to celebrate the positive contributions and achievements of men; raise awareness of the issues affecting men and boys and the associated impacts on wider society and offer opportunities for formal and informal networking and mentoring.
