5. Campaigning for Inclusion, Equality, Freedom & Justice: LJMU LGBT History Month Event 2019

   LJMU’s Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Team in collaboration with the LJMU LGBTIQ+ Staff Network, presented an opportunity for all LJMU staff, students and members of the local community to attend this year’s Lesbian Gay Bisexual Trans (LGBT) History Month Event (2019).

6. Suicide and Self-Harm Research North West Conference

   Experts from across the North West have come together at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) to share their experiences and knowledge of suicide and self-harm.

7. Knitting together different generations

   A special handmade LFC inspired banner was unveiled at the Museum of Liverpool, which has been created by local children and older persons from the areas surrounding Anfield Stadium, as part of an LJMU intergenerational project – the Sustainable Skills Café.

8. Subject specific Saturday clubs encourage expression and creativity in Merseyside teenagers

   LJMU has launched subject specific Saturday clubs to raise the aspirations of young people in Merseyside.

9. Making Liverpool schools sun safe this summer

   Liverpool John Moores University is working with the Skcin cancer charity and the Clare Daly Foundation to roll out the Sun Safe Schools accreditation across primary schools in the Liverpool region, which will benefit up to 10,000 children.

10. Graduation review Wednesday 11 July

    Wednesday saw the School of Sport Studies, Leisure and Nutrition graduate in the morning and the Public Health Institute and the School of Education in the afternoon ceremony.
