2. Get vaccinated on campus this October

   Female students aged 18 to 25 can get a HPV or MMR vaccine at Byrom Street, Monday to Saturday from 14 to 26 October.

3. In memoriam Dr Alistair Beere

   Dr Alistair Beere passed away at the end of August and his funeral arrangements have been shared by his family.

4. Updated Assessment and Feedback Policy

   The policy has been updated with two new areas of activity on internal moderation and the use of generative AI (GenAI) in assessment.

5. Developing the diverse workforce of the future for engineering and technology

   LJMU hosted events with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers exploring diversity and inclusion in engineering and technology skills.

6. Art on Merseyside celebrated on campus

   LJMU hosted charity Arts Friends Merseyside in recognition of the organisation’s dedication to the arts in the region, while celebrating LJMU's art collections.

   Face Lab helps recreate a speaking avatar for Richard III

8. Law and Justice Careers Fair, Wednesday 20 November

   Are you interested in pursuing a career in a law or criminal justice setting? Attend the Law and Justice Careers Fair.

9. 1,000 nurses and paramedics trained in knife attacks

   LJMU teamed up with medic campaign to save people from knife wounds

10. Launch of Men's Staff Network

    The Men’s Staff Network will provide a space for colleagues to celebrate the positive contributions and achievements of men; raise awareness of the issues affecting men and boys and the associated impacts on wider society and offer opportunities for formal and informal networking and mentoring.
