5. Menopause cafes throughout 2024

   This year we will once again host four menopause cafes for our staff, with the first taking place on Tuesday 16 January, and anyone wishing to attend can book via the staff wellbeing events page.

6. How to find and access defibrillators across campus

   We have 60 on campus which anyone can access and use in the event of an emergency.

7. Armistice Day 2022 arrangements

   We will mark Armistice Day by observing a two-minute silence at 11am on Friday 11 November.

8. International Scholarships awarded to 16 students

   16 students were presented with their international scholarships this week at a reception in the Student Life Building.

   Formal nominations need to be submitted by 5pm on Tuesday 23 January 2024.

10. Competitive football players have superior vision, LJMU-led study suggests

    A new study lead by LJMU has found that the visual abilities of competitive football players are substantially better than those of healthy non-athletes.
