3. MSc student takes on role as Juror for 2024 Eurovision Song Contest

   LJMU Audio and Video Forensics Masters student and Music Producer, Brian Sheil was selected as a juror for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final, which was held in Malmo, Sweden, on Saturday 11 May.

4. Enhancing the student experience through improved assessment and feedback guidance

   A project group has updated our Assessment and Feedback Policy as well as launched a new mini site of guidance for staff to utilise.

5. International arts festival will launch the new Liverpool Fabric District

   An international festival of art, music and performance featuring world firsts will be taking place in May to celebrate the launch of the Fabric District in Liverpool.

6. Developing the diverse workforce of the future for engineering and technology

   LJMU hosted events with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers exploring diversity and inclusion in engineering and technology skills.

7. LJMU partner in £9m project to enhance digital connectivity in high density areas

   Computer science and maths experts will help to model and investigate both the security and performance of a new telecoms network.

   Over 130 students, staff and alumni joined the Liverpool City Region Pride March at the weekend.

10. Sixty years of Liverpool Everyman celebrated with LJMU Exhibition

    Liverpool John Moores University’s Libraries: Archives and Special Collections has partnered with the Liverpool Everyman to celebrate the sixty-year history of the theatre.
