   The Secretariat is now seeking expressions of interest from eligible LJMU staff to serve on the Academic Board and to take up their roles in September.

   There are five vacancies available and eligible staff should send an expression of interest for the role to the Secretariat.

4. Academic Staff Governor vacancy

   The Secretariat is now seeking expressions of interest from eligible candidates for the position of Academic Staff Governor to serve on the Board of Governors.

5. Your new Academic Staff Governor Caroline Wilkinson

   Following a fortnight-long election period, Caroline received the majority of votes out of the eight self-nominated candidates and will now serve on the Board for the next three years.

6. Academic Board vacancies

   The Secretariat is now taking expressions of interests from eligible candidates for two vacancies on the Academic Board, a Directorate and a Professoriate member.

7. Academic Staff Governor voting now open

   All Academic staff have until 5pm on Monday 19 June to vote for their preferred Academic Staff Governor candidate.

8. Academic Staff Governor Elections

   Following the call for nominations, eight candidates are standing for election, with the election period opening on Monday 5 June and running until Monday 19 June.

9. Pair appointed to Board of Governors

   Two academic staff colleagues have been appointed to serve on the Board of Governors.

10. Updated Research Degrees Framework 2024/25

    Updates have been made to various regulations and policies that underpin the university’s Research Degrees Framework.
