  1. LGBTQI+ Flags

    In 1978 gay rights activist Gilbert Baker created the first Pride flag with the goal of it being a symbol for everyone. Since then many new flags were created to represent all communities within the LGBTQI+ community.

  2. Your LJMU, Your Voice staff survey

    LJMU carried out an exercise in the spring of 2023 to learn more about the experiences of staff working for the university. Your LJMU, Your Voice was a survey of all staff to find out how factors like our culture and values help them to do their job and feel part of the LJMU community.

  4. Staff Disability Network

    The LJMU Staff Disability Network is open to staff whom identify as having a disability (physical, hidden, mental and long-term health conditions), in the first instance.

  5. Admin and Executive Support Network

    The Admin and Executive Support Network is aimed at all internal administrative staff in roles such as (but not exclusive to) Personal Assistant, Executive Support Officer and Faculty Administrator from across the university.

  6. Research and Innovation Services (RIS) empowers you to secure external funding and prepare for the Research Excellence Framework with access to a professional team of both grant funding and knowledge exchange expertise.

  7. Ethnically Diverse Staff Network

    The LJMU Ethnically Diverse Staff Network is open to staff whom identify as Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic, in the first instance.
