The winners of the John Moores Students' Union Amazing Teaching Awards 2022 have been announced with 15 winners across six categories.
New technology using Artificial Intelligence alongside the famous Liverpool Telescope (LT), has been shortlisted for a Times Higher Education Award for Research Project of the Year 2017.
A comedy-horror film produced by students at the LJMU Screen School has been named the winner in the Comedy Entertainment category at the Royal Television Society North West Student Television Awards.
LJMU is one of 15 teams to win the Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE) and an LJMU academic has also been awarded one of 54 National Teaching Fellows (NTF). Dr Philip Denton, Principal Lecturer at the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences, is the recipient of the NTF and the paramedic team at LJMU’s Schools of Nursing and Allied Health received the CATE.
The School of Sport and Exercise Sciences has been successful in its application for Athena SWAN Bronze Award.
Oration for University Companion award
LJMU has received the bronze award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) acknowledging how we provide support to the Armed Forces community.
The award celebrates LJMU as an ‘anchor institution’ with a university-wide effort contributing to impactful social value across the region.
