1. Partnership with ScreenSkills promotes High end TV careers to Merseyside pupils

   The university’s Liverpool Screen School (LSS) has delivered six roadshows to introduce year 10 pupils to the prospect of High-end TV (HETV) careers.

4. Students gain insight into world of international boxing

   Students from the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, Liverpool Screen School and Liverpool Business School gained real-world insight into professional boxing and PR with a campus visit from worldwide boxing promoters Matchroom and boxer Peter McGrail.

   A film charting the history of Liverpool College of Art, today’s Liverpool School of Art and Design, was screened at a special event attended by more than 50 alumni of the college and university.

   Senior Lecturer Jeff Young has been shortlisted for the 2020 Costa Biography Prize for his book Ghost Town, a Liverpool Shadowplay.

9. Drama students to perform during Battle of the Atlantic 80th anniversary week

   The three free performances will take place on Wednesday 24, Thursday 25 and Friday 26 May at 7.30pm at the John Foster Drama Studio.
