   Hosted outside of the USA for only the second time in the conference's history, more than 170 delegates gathered in Liverpool for the three-day event.

   Following the Challenging Racism Collaborative Campaign (webinar series), the University of Kent, Liverpool John Moores University and City, University of London are working with Inclusive Employers to deliver a virtual, Inclusive Allyship Programme.

7. Strength and conditioning interns train with Paralympic medallist Ola Abidogun

   LJMU master’s and undergraduate student interns recently spent a day with Paralympic and commonwealth medallist Ola Abidogun finessing their coaching skills in the latest of a series of workshops working with elite athletes and experienced industry professionals.

8. Partnership with ScreenSkills promotes High end TV careers to Merseyside pupils

   The university’s Liverpool Screen School (LSS) has delivered six roadshows to introduce year 10 pupils to the prospect of High-end TV (HETV) careers.

9. LJMU to host Universities Policy Engagement Network fringe event on EDI

   The university will host an event for the Universities Policy Engagement Network (UPEN) to further their work in addressing Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) within academic-policy engagement.

10. LJMU leads partnership with technology hub to support and innovate region’s businesses

    LJMU received a £2m government grant to help SMEs, and has used the funding to partner with the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) to help transform regional industry through the use of a new Business Launch Centre (MTC@LJMU) based at LJMU’s Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
