4. Professional Services Conference 2019

   Registration is open for the 2019 Professional Services Conference, being held on Thursday 27th June in the Redmonds building. This year’s theme is “Leadership Matters” with a focus on resilience, health and wellbeing.

5. School children experience immersive technology spaces

   To support the Department for Education's STEAM agenda, the Faculty of Arts and Professional Studies, has started a programme of visits from school children across the region.

7. Your new Staff Governor Emily Walker

   Following a fortnight-long election period, Emily received the majority of votes out of the five self-nominated candidates to represent Professional Services, and will now serve on the Board for the next three years.

8. Minister for Health 'humbled' by resilience of LJMU nurses

   Yara and Rawan Kassab, 21, were a picture of delight as they graduated from an award-winning LJMU course on Friday.

9. LJMU fashion and broadcast staff raise career aspirations of local schoolchildren

   Cathy Reilly, fashion design and manufacture technologist, and Bradley Hessey, an experienced broadcast technologist , joined schoolchildren from St Leo’s School in Whiston during their Ambition Week.

    All Professional Services staff have until 5pm on Monday 27 March to vote for their preferred Staff Governor candidate.
