4. LJMU PHD student Valeria Carini recognised at Pandemic Institute’s first Student Excellence Awards

   Valeria was presented the award alongside students from the University of Liverpool and Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine with grants for scientific research, aimed to enhance preparedness for future pandemics.

5. LJMU's ACTivator Earns National Recognition

   ACTivator, LJMU's programme of researcher development workshops, has been awarded the 'Developing Excellent Practice Award 2019' at the Staff Development Forum's (SDF) annual national conference.

6. Medallist returns from European Championships to graduate

   Sport Business student Rio Boothe has returned from the European Para Laser Run Championships to graduate in BA Sport Business.

   Professor Lip is close collaborator with the Faculty of Health, the School of Sport & Exercise Science and the School of Computing & Mathematics.
