1. New performance review and development system

   Following a successful pilot scheme, from next week all staff will be able to access a brand new system to take ownership of their development and objective.

   Open Research Week 2024 is a collaborative event by LJMU, Edge Hill University, University of Liverpool, and the University of Essex from Monday 26 February to Friday 1 March.

3. Liverpool Business School makes global entrepreneurship impact with Prime Minister of Lebanon

   Academics from LJMU's Liverpool Business School, alongside project colleagues from the Middle East, have met with the Prime Minister of Lebanon, Mr. Najib Mikati, at the Grand Serail to present a policy brief on entrepreneurship in Lebanon.

4. Catering store within iBuy down 14 to 18 August

   The catering store within iBuy will be down from 14 to 18 August. Any catering requests for during this period and up to the 22 August should be booked in advance.

5. LJMU announces new honorary fellows

   LJMU will celebrate the inspirational achievements of 16 new honorary fellows in a special ceremony later this year.

9. Workshops for researchers now available to book for 2024

   Further workshops will take place throughout 2024 aimed at researchers and postgraduate researchers (PGRs) to enhance how they manage their research data.

10. College students enjoy stay in Liverpool and university experience

    At the beginning of July, nearly 100 Year 12 students from Northern Ireland, Wales and across the rest of England took part in a three-day residential visit to LJMU to experience all that the university has to offer.
