   Two third year paramedic students sprang to action last week to help a casualty who had fallen on Rodney Street, Liverpool.

4. LJMU students help refugees at the Polish/Ukrainian border

   MA Wildlife Conservation students Vanessa Grundy, 27 and Alex Donnelly, 27 along with Vanessa's brother Mike Grundy are currently at the Poland-Ukraine border helping refugees get to safe accommodation in Krakow, and further across Europe, following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

   A key initiative to put nature at the centre of planning policy across the Liverpool City Region has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award.

   It is with great sadness that the university announces the death of Caroline Chinn following a long illness.

10. School of Humanities and Social Sciences create Craft Club for student wellbeing

    The department of Media, Culture, Communication in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences has established a new initiative to create space for students to socialise and support their wellbeing.
