Four new student officers are now in post for the 2024/2025 academic year to represent the 27,000 students at LJMU.
The aim of the programme is to offer LJMU Managers, Programme Leaders and Personal Tutors further support and guidance, in relation to; operating more confidently and effectively, whilst developing themselves and their staff/students positively.
For the past eight years students from the LJMU BA Education and BA Early Childhood Studies programmes have had the opportunity to undertake international placements thanks to a partnership with Srinakharinwirot University in Bangkok, Thailand.
Throughout the academic year more than 120 undergraduate, MA and PhD students from a range of disciplines across the Liverpool School of Art and Design have learnt a variety of traditional skills from leatherwork to weaving.

The Liverpool School of Art and Design has welcomed a new lecturer to its ranks, art critic, historian, and curator Christine Eyene. As well as taking up a new post here at LJMU, she will also play an important role in deciding the winner of one of the best-known prizes for visual art, the Turner Prize 2022, as she has been selected to sit on this years jury.
