6. New service connecting LJMU’s student talent to Merseyside business gets underway

   As a major development towards LJMU’s goal of more readily matching student and graduate talent to the needs of Merseyside businesses, we have entered into an agreement with Unitemps to establish a specialist recruitment service for the region.

7. Knowsley Parent Power group visit LJMU

   The outreach team, in collaboration with Shaping Futures and The Brilliant Club welcomed the Knowsley Parent Power group onto campus to experience Higher Education and university life.

9. LJMU fashion and broadcast staff raise career aspirations of local schoolchildren

   Cathy Reilly, fashion design and manufacture technologist, and Bradley Hessey, an experienced broadcast technologist , joined schoolchildren from St Leo’s School in Whiston during their Ambition Week.

    Tim Nichol met with the Prime Minister of Vietnam at the weekend as LJMU sealed a partnership with one of the country's up-and-coming universities.
