1. LJMU launches University Funded Diversity and Inclusion Scheme

   LJMU is providing grants to academic staff, students, and professional services staff, to work on research across the university related to Diversity and Inclusion.

   Biological and Environmental Sciences has become the fifth LJMU school to have received the Athena SWAN Bronze Award.

8. LJMU PHD student Valeria Carini recognised at Pandemic Institute’s first Student Excellence Awards

   Valeria was presented the award alongside students from the University of Liverpool and Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine with grants for scientific research, aimed to enhance preparedness for future pandemics.

9. Partnership project to close current skills gap in Indian construction

   A research project aiming to address the current skills gap in the Indian construction industry has begun through an industry academia partnership, funded by the British Council’s Going Global Partnership Grant

    More than 50 students undertaking master’s study in advanced clinical practice, including those studying via a degree apprenticeship, showcased change in practice innovations and evidence-based projects.
