1. Menopause cafes throughout 2024

   This year we will once again host four menopause cafes for our staff, with the first taking place on Tuesday 16 January, and anyone wishing to attend can book via the staff wellbeing events page.

7. LJMU Women Academic Progression Symposium

   LJMUs Womens Professorial Network in association with the Women Academics Network, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Team and Pro VC of Research and Enterprise Professor Keith George, are proud to present the opportunity for all women academics and professional service staff at LJMU, to participate in the Universitys first ever virtual Women Academic Progression Symposium.

8. Open Data Week 2024 new sessions added

   Join a week of online events and workshops from Monday 21 to Friday 25 October.

9. Start-up funding opportunity for new student businesses

   The LJMU Start-up Hub is excited to announce that the new Bathgate Boost award is now open! The £500 award is designed to support students who can demonstrate their business idea. Sitting alongside this funding is a package of support from the Start-up Hub team built around developing your start-up and skills as an entrepreneur. The award is open to all current LJMU students and new alumni who graduated from LJMU during 2023.

10. Professorship and readership conferment process

    To provide as much planning time as possible we can confirm that the LJMU professorship and readership conferment process for 2023/24 will open from 27 November 2023.
