6. £575k boost for student mental health provision in Liverpool

   A partnership featuring Liverpool John Moores University has been awarded £575k worth of funding from the Office for Students for a project to further develop mental health provision for students across Liverpool.

7. Inspirational student reaches £150,000 target to repay his life-saving bone marrow transplant

   Andrew Davies, who is in his second year studying a Sport and Exercise Science degree, has completed his mission to raise £150,000 to pay back the hospital which saved his life six years ago.

8. Arts and Humanities Research Council awards LJMU £250,000

   LJMU researchers are to help regenerate post-industrial sites of China after successfully bidding for £250,000 funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council.

9. School of Nursing and Allied Health receives £250,000 from ESRC

   The School of Nursing and Allied Health has been awarded £250,000 from the prestigious Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) for a project which will examine the rights of healthcare practitioners in relation to abortion.

10. LJMU in £3.5m ‘clean growth’ network project

    Liverpool John Moores University is sharing in a £67m Government grant aimed at driving forward university commercialisation across the country.
