   LJMU has backed a national pledge to support technicians working at the University

2. Aldham Robarts Library to remain closed on Sundays until end of 2023

   Staff and students can access alternate library services at the Student Life Building or visit the Avril Robarts Library on Sundays.

3. Academic Board election voting now open

   Staff have until 5pm on Thursday 14 September to vote for their preferred Academic Board candidates.

   Staff are "utterly dedicated, passionate and knowledgeable"

5. Making Every Contact Count training day

   This mental health training will take place on Tuesday 10 October, 9.30am to 3pm, Exchange Station G20 and 21.

6. Look after your wellbeing throughout the year

   Feel Fab Feb may be over but there's wellbeing support for students and staff throughout the year at LJMU

7. New and updated diversity and inclusion policies

   The Employment Committee has recently approved a new diversity and inclusion policy and guidance document, as well as amendments to an existing policy.

8. Expressions of interest welcomed for Academic Board vacancies

   There are five vacancies available and eligible staff should send an expression of interest for the role to the Secretariat.

9. Librarian recognised by national Library Association

   Academic Engagement Librarian Gemma Wright has been recognised by CILIP, The Library and Information Association, as an outstanding professional helping to lead the sector into a new age of information.

10. Admissions Policy update

    The LJMU Admissions Policy has recently undergone some minor amendments and the updated version can be found in the Policy Centre.
