4. LJMU ranks in top 60 UK universities for Sustainable Development Goals

   Liverpool John Moores University has ranked 301st to 400th internationally in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, for its commitment to the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The rankings also place LJMU in the top 60 UK universities and top six universities in the North West

5. Ice Age bone samples reveal DNA links between wolves and dogs

   An international group of geneticists and archaeologists have analysed bones samples, some provided by LJMU, that reveal the ancestry of dogs can be traced to at least two populations of ancient wolves.
