    Based within the Centre for the Study of Crime, Criminalisation and Social Exclusion, Artivism seeks to explore new models of collaborative work between researchers, artists, curators, campaign groups and charities.

    Our interest lies in the evolution of animal societies and the interactions that occur within these societies and their link to emotion, cognition and communication. We primarily study primates (including humans) but also other species including birds.   9. Natural Curriculum – School of Education

    Working in partnership with Mersey Forest, LJMU have developed the Natural Curriculum, which is already gaining a strong local and regional reputation. We run a professional practice hub for local schools and have successfully delivered Department for Education/Natural England funded income-generating programmes for teachers.
