   The life of Eleanor Rathbone (1872-1946) was the subject of the latest Roscoe lecture, delivered by Dr Susan Cohen at St George’s Hall to mark the start of a year in celebration of her life. An audience of over 1,000 were given an insight into the achievements of this extraordinary Liverpool citizen who, born into a life of wealth and privilege, used her influence and position in society to campaign for social justice and dedicated her entire life to the service of others.

4. LJMU statement on Learning Together

   Since 2016, LJMU has been part of the Learning Together network.

5. Scholarships for new students starting September 2024

   Every year we award a range of scholarships from £1,000 to £5,000 that don't need to be paid back!

6. Professorship and readership conferment process

   The LJMU professorship and readership conferment process for 2024/25 will open from Wednesday 27 November 2024.

7. LJMU host 59th Annual Associated Schools of Construction International Conference

   Hosted outside of the USA for only the second time in the conference's history, more than 170 delegates gathered in Liverpool for the three-day event.

8. Developing the diverse workforce of the future for engineering and technology

   LJMU hosted events with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers exploring diversity and inclusion in engineering and technology skills.

9. LJMU 4th in Uni Compare Top 100 Universities rankings

   Liverpool John Moores University has ranked #3 in Course Quality in the Uni Compare 2023 Rankings and is now in 4th place overall in the Uni Compare Top 100 Universities rankings.
