2. Global Internship Programme – Work abroad

   For summer 2019, LJMU will be sending students on 2 month internships in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Melbourne, Australia. The scheme covers flights, accommodation, insurance, work experience, networking events and might include trips or social activities too!

4. Improving Student Mental Health through Partnerships Project

   LJMU is committed to improving student mental health and is leading on a project to improve student mental health provision, working in partnership with key organisations in the city.

5. Staff Disability Network

   The LJMU Staff Disability Network is open to staff whom identify as having a disability (physical, hidden, mental and long-term health conditions), in the first instance.

6. In-school deferment

   Students from the U.S. who are planning to study, or currently studying at LJMU, can find out how to apply for in-school deferment on their federal loans.

7. Private loans

   American students interested in studying at LJMU can apply for a private loan via Sallie Mae. Find out the application process and eligibility requirements for private loans.

8. IT Services team

   Peter Ashton is the Chief Information Officer of LJMU's IT Services Department.

9. The Critical Research Seminar Series

   The Critical Research Seminars are a series of talks and debates that examine social policy. Seminar topics include: policing, youth justice, prison policy, drugs policy, death in custody and violence against women.
