This occupation is found in the commercial and leisure maritime sectors, including maritime regulators, classification societies, small commercial vessel certifying authorities, port authorities, marine insurers, brokers and consultancy companies, including large, medium-sized and small employers.
Within our School we have three distinct research groups: Media, Culture, Communications, LJMU Writers’ Workshop and Drama and Performance.
The Projects, Operations and Workplace Management Research Group develops solutions for the ever-growing challenges in projects, operations and workplace management and suggests alternative ways to improve organisational performance. Our aim is to really make a difference to how organisations are managed in the future.
LJMU has many strategies and initiatives in place to tackle recycling and waste management within the University. See our commitments to minimising waste.
Emily is LJMU’s Archivist and Special Collections Librarian, responsible for looking after the university’s collection of rare, unique and distinctive books and archive materials. It was during her time at school that she first began thinking about a career working as the custodian of such special documents, publications and artefacts.
