2. Alpine F1 performance coach and jet lag doctoral researcher visits LJMU ahead of new Formula 1 season

   Sport and Exercise Science Professional Doctorate student, Tom Clark, visited LJMU last week in preparation for the start of the new Formula 1 season and to discuss his jet lag research. Tom has spent the past four years working with the Alpine F1 team and specifically their driver Esteban Ocon.

3. LJMU announces new honorary fellows

   LJMU will celebrate the inspirational achievements of 16 new honorary fellows in a special ceremony later this year.

4. John Bishop presents local sixth-formers with Good Citizenship Award

   St George's Hall was packed out for the latest Roscoe Lecture presented by renowned comedian John Bishop.

5. ADHD Foundation 'Neurodiversity Umbrella Project' welcomed onto campus

   You may have noticed a rainbow installation of more than 80 umbrellas in the Student Life Building. We're delighted to partner with the ADHD Foundation to bring the Neurodiversity Umbrella Project.

6. International Women's Day - Tuesday 8 March

   This year's International Women's Day theme is #BreakTheBias and Ambar Ennis, VP Community and Wellbeing at JMSU and Julia Daer, EDI Advisor discuss what this means to them.

7. Events and support for disabled and neurodivergent students

   Disability History Month begins this week (16 November- 16 December) and LJMU has a range of events, careers advice sessions and support available for students.

   Several policies have been updated.

9. Student Led European Youth Parliament Regional Debating Event

   A European Youth Parliament (EYP) regional debating event was hosted on campus on Wednesday 28 February, organised by LJMU students Rachael Carroll and Zoe Woodward.

10. Empower Programme for students on the Autism spectrum

    The NHS Merseyside Health Sector Career and Engagement Hub is running the Empower programme - a pre-employment transition workshop for second and final year LJMU students on the Autism spectrum.
