  1. TIMED: TIMe experience in Europe’s Digital age

TIMED is a large cross-cultural research study that will investigate for the first time how increasing digital technology use is affecting how we experience time as individuals and in society across Europe.

  2. SDG 5 - Gender equality

We are supporting all students to have the best experience possible at LJMU, regardless of their gender. That’s why we’re the first UK university to provide free period products across campus, and we’ve set up Menopause Cafés for staff. We’re also championing gender equality in the wider community, reflected through our involvement in the This Girl Can campaign with Sport England.

  3. First national consultation

This project aims to create a universal definition of physical literacy in England to hopefully catalyse efforts to adopt, support and promote physical literacy in practice.

  4. Jack Fitzpatrick

Jack is an LJMU graduate, who as someone living with a disability, has found great support during his studies and fantastic mentors at the university.

  5. Design for Dementia

Can architecture and design help people with dementia? Design for Dementia is an ongoing integrated research, design and build project undertaken by Art Labs.
