  1. Lucy Wilde

    Wildlife conservation graduate Lucy has used the knowledge and skills gained during her undergraduate studies at LJMU to carve out her own unique career as an ecologist and conservation detection dog handler.

  2. Dr Trang Nguyen

    Trang is a wildlife conservation scientist and environmental activist from Vietnam working in both Asia and Africa to tackle the illegal wildlife trade, and she undertook her undergraduate studies here at LJMU.

  3. GERI's facilities

    General Engineering Research Institute (GERI) have a number of facilities, from laboratories and microscopes to lasers and x-ray machines.

  4. Alexandra Bahor

    Alexandra has been a friend of LJMU since 2015 when she moved to the UK, and alongside her own studies, she has played a key role in forging a relationship between the university and the growing Roma community in the city.

  5. Nickianne Moody

    Nickianne worked at LJMU for just short of 30 years, teaching on and then leading the university’s Media and Cultural Studies provision. Sadly, she died in 2019 following a period of illness, leaving behind a multitude of memories and legacies for students and academics alike.

  6. Data Science Research Centre

    The Data Science Research Centre undertakes research into a range of subjects addressing real world problems in such areas as health, sports, human resources and business.
