Following the call for nominations for five vacancies on our Academic Board, the Secretariat is pleased to announce that they have filled the positions.
There are five vacancies available and eligible staff should send an expression of interest for the role to the Secretariat.
A host of representatives from our faculties, along with professional services, have been elected to the Academic Board following a series of elections that took place over the past fortnight.
Result of the recent Academic Board election
Training sessions will be held via Microsoft Teams throughout April and will cover the main aspects of the role of invigilators, including responsibilities prior to, during and following the completion of the examination.
Following a fortnight-long election period, Caroline received the majority of votes out of the eight self-nominated candidates and will now serve on the Board for the next three years.
A mini-conference highlighting developments in decolonial approaches to teaching and research across the university featuring three sessions of talks and discussion on decolonising pedagogy, assessment and research methods, will take place in November.
Updates have been made to various regulations and policies that underpin the university’s Research Degrees Framework.
