Dr Pooja Saini, LJMU Lecturer in Psychology, won the Public Service Award at the Asian Women of Achievement Awards 2018.

Start-up catches eye of Liverpool business leaders
LJMUs Dr Craig Hammond, a Senior Lecturer in the School of Education, has been recognised for his outstanding impact on student outcomes and the teaching profession in higher education, with a National Teaching Fellowship.
Marketing graduate Mark Russell has received a Duke of York Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
The award recognises LJMU’s work on diversity and inclusion including the creation of a Diversity Reporting Guide and a planned Diversity in Journalism Teaching symposium.
