   On Wednesday 15 June, LJMU celebrated the work of women in football at the inaugural meeting of the Football Exchange Women's Network (FExWN). The event brought together network members, delegates and industry speakers to celebrate their contributions to the sport and to challenge the realms of what is considered possible.

   A lecturer from LJMU is featured in a fantastic exhibition celebrating NHS workers in Merseyside.

5. Astrophysics Research Institute PhD student receives only UK award from NASA

   LJMU has the highest number of Hubble Fellowships in the UK, as one of their latest awards goes to an Astrophysics Research Institute student straight out of her PhD. Dr Emma Beasor was also the only UK student awarded a Fellowship this year.

6. Journalism students join LJMU Chancellor Nisha Katona at Mowgli Dog Show

   Five journalism students covered the Mowgli Dog Show this month, hosted by LJMUs Chancellor Nisha Katona.

8. Networking Breakfast at Exchange Station

   Research and Innovation Services (RIS) will be holding an informal networking breakfast event, Coffee and Croissant, at Exchange Station on Thursday 7th February from 8.15am - 9.30am.

9. LJMU Sport Science ranked 15th in the world

   Sport and Exercise Science at Liverpool John Moores University is in the top 15 in the world in a new global ranking.
