   Long service staff who have worked at the university for over 25 years were celebrated at an event at the Hilton, Liverpool last week.

   LJMUs School of Sport and Exercise Sciences is piloting a unique programme to support talented young athletes in schools and colleges across Merseyside, and its neighbouring counties.

7. New ES1 form available for managers

   The Finance team has recently updated the ES1 form used to assess contractors against HMRCs off-payroll working rules (sometimes called IR35).

8. Eight students compete in Archon University Fitness League

   Eight LJMU students took part in an Archon Fittest Universities Event in Birmingham earlier this month, with student Jordan McCarthy placing first across the leaderboard in the STRONG category.

9. Bollywood creatives work with LJMU students on musical theatre production

   See the production - Fireflies - at the university’s drama studio on Thursday 30 May and Friday 31 May.
