Elections for the Academic Board teaching staff will take place from 24th May until 11th June 2019.
Following the call for nominations, eight candidates are standing for election, with the election period opening on Monday 5 June and running until Monday 19 June.
Following the call for nominations for five vacancies on our Academic Board, the Secretariat is pleased to announce that they have filled the positions.
Following the call for nominations, an election for the non-teaching member of staff on Academic Board will take place.
Formal nominations need to be submitted by 5pm on Tuesday 23 January 2024.
All Academic staff have until 5pm on Monday 19 June to vote for their preferred Academic Staff Governor candidate.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Mark Power is to represent higher education on the new board.
Fran Yeoman, Head of Journalism in the Faculty of Arts, Professional and Social Studies, has been appointed to the UK Governments Media Literacy Taskforce Steering Board.
There is currently one vacancy on the Board of Governors for a member of Teaching staff for the period of office 21st April 2020 to 20th April 2023.
