1. Over 500 staff and students attend Students at the Heart Conference 2023

   Covering everything from AI to alumni, 70 plus sessions were delivered by 200 staff and students across the two-day event.

   The aim of the programme is to offer LJMU Managers, Programme Leaders and Personal Tutors further support and guidance, in relation to; operating more confidently and effectively, whilst developing themselves and their staff/students positively.

4. Sport coaching expertise goes international in Malta

   International specialists in the field of sport coaching at LJMU visited Malta earlier this month as they delivered face-to-face teaching components of the inaugural postgraduate programme.

5. Education students gain experience and insight through placements in Thailand

   For the past eight years students from the LJMU BA Education and BA Early Childhood Studies programmes have had the opportunity to undertake international placements thanks to a partnership with Srinakharinwirot University in Bangkok, Thailand.

6. Register for the Students at the Heart Conference 2024

   Staff and students can now register to attend the conference, with various workshops and sessions taking place across the two days, in the Redmonds and Student Life buildings, on LJMU campus.

7. LJMU train 40 Mersey Care matrons and nurses in anticipatory and advanced care planning

   Helping patients across Merseyside to be involved in the planning of their future treatment and care.

8. LJMU Academic awarded National Teaching Fellowship

   Ester Ragonese, Associate Dean Education (APS) and Senior Lecturer in Criminal Justice has been awarded a National Teaching Fellowship from Advance HE.
