2. The Multisensory Mouth: An investigation into the Motivational, Cognitive and Emotional mechanisms, driving Oral behaviours

   This project focuses on the role olfactory and oral perception plays in shaping our consummatory experiences, preferences, and food seeking behaviours. Research into this area is important to health research, shaping understanding of individual differences in food selection, consumption, and other dietary behaviours.

   Advice for students from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Nigeria who are required to take a Pre-CAS interview.

4. PhD Symposium 2019

   Now in its 5th year, this free to attend conference brings together PhD students from around the world who are undertaking research that aims to help people live longer, healthier and happier lives.

5. Pre departure advice - Go abroad

   Not all of our students are experienced travellers and the Study Abroad Team are keen to support as best we can. We host a number of compulsory information sessions that students are required to attend before embarking on their experience of lifetime. 7. Pete Dolan

   Pete is the Outreach Manager at LJMU, responsible for building relationships with schools and colleges and for delivering the university’s sustained widening access initiatives, targeting under-represented learners and disadvantaged communities. In 2023 he celebrated 25 years of working at LJMU.
