Living longer, healthier and happier
Friday 26 July, with pre-conference workshops 25 July
Now in its 5th year, this free to attend conference brings together PhD students from around the world who are undertaking research that aims to help people live longer, healthier and happier lives.
Conference registration – now open
Registration is open now to any postgraduate researchers in UK, European and international institutions. Places are limited, so please register early to avoid disappointment.
The conference will again be preceded by free-to-attend workshops with topics like ‘Surviving your Viva’ and ‘Publishing and Research Impact’.
Abstract submission – now open
The deadline for submitting an abstract is Friday 7th June 2019.
We welcome abstracts on topics related to the conference theme. This includes but is not restricted to:
- Aging
- Alcohol and substance use
- Diet, exercise, and obesity
- Environmental health
- Health inequalities
- Health promotion and prevention
- Health service provision
- International public health
- Maternal, reproductive and sexual health
- Mental health
- Research methods in relation to health
- Violence

The conference will take place in the John Lennon Art and Design Building in Liverpool city centre - get directions.
