   Public Health institute (PHI) host the European Federation of Environmental Health (EFEH) a regional branch of the International Federation of Environmental Health, which seeks to a provide means for exchanging information and experience on environmental health works to promote co-operation between countries

3. Drones to the rescue: wildlife park footage will help save endangered animals

   Scientists at LJMU are capturing the thermal profiles of animals at a local wildlife park in order to help researchers around the world classify and monitor endangered species in the wild.

4. New research opportunities with GROWTH for the Astrophysics Research Institute

   The Astrophysics Research Institute (ARI) has been named as an official partner in the GROWTH scientific collaboration.

5. Staff car parking update August 2023

   The university will continue to subsidise staff car parking until 31 August 2024.

   It was standing room only at LJMU's BAME Staff Network launch held at Sensor City earlier this month. The session, which was chaired by Professor Ahmed Al-Shamma’a, featured a range of enlightening and informative keynote talks.
