2. UK Malaysia University Consortium host 80 students at inaugural conference

   LJMU as the Consortium Secretariat played a leading role in organising the five-day event.

3. MA Student shortlisted for ‘Tourism Young Person of the Year’

   LJMU student Victoria Smith, 24 was shortlisted for the Tourism Young Person of the Year award at this years Liverpool City Region Tourist Awards 2022. The awards, that took place at Liverpool Cathedral, saw businesses and guests from across Liverpool celebrating the city regions tourism sector.

4. Journalism programmes receive NCTJ award for equality, diversity and inclusion

   The award recognises LJMU’s work on diversity and inclusion including the creation of a Diversity Reporting Guide and a planned Diversity in Journalism Teaching symposium.

5. Over 500 staff and students attend Students at the Heart Conference 2023

   Covering everything from AI to alumni, 70 plus sessions were delivered by 200 staff and students across the two-day event.

6. Liverpool, Littlewoods and the legacy of Sir John Moores through LJMU

   A blog by Vice-Chancellor Professor Mark Power delving into the story of Sir John Moores, the man LJMU is named after.

7. Secure a paid internship and discover what you want to be

   LJMU is offering our second and final year students (Levels 5 & 6) the opportunity to undertake a paid 'Discovery Internship' with a local organisation, working on a suitable project or piece of work that will enhance your employability skills and career insight.

8. Masters in Art and Design Degree Show: Class of 2020 show their enterprise

   Around 40 students will exhibit their ideas from MA courses in Fine Art, Graphic Art and Illustration, Art in Science, Fashion Innovation and Realisation and Exhibition Studies.

9. Another ‘first’ for LJMU in Sport and Exercise Sciences

   Professor Zoe Knowles is set to become the first woman to chair the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES).

10. Bicentenary year Artist in Residence drawings to be exhibited on campus

    Julia Midgley: Bicentenary Sketchbook - A Window on LJMU's 200th Anniversary Year will go on public display from Monday 18 March for an extended run until Friday 5 April at the John Lennon Art and Design Building.
