4. Paid opportunity to solve a real world issue

   LCR Founders is offering students from any programme or level of study the chance to apply for a three-day paid consultancy to solve a real-world issue presented by an external organisation.

   LJMU is applying for Silver-level Athena Swan accreditation and want to hear your views on working at LJMU.

6. Drama students to perform during Battle of the Atlantic 80th anniversary week

   The three free performances will take place on Wednesday 24, Thursday 25 and Friday 26 May at 7.30pm at the John Foster Drama Studio.

7. "I want to set an example to women and girls"

   From the first person in her remote village in Pakistan to attend university, to a doctorate, Dr Maryam Kawsar graduated from LJMU with a PhD today.

   After starting university life during the pandemic, working on a project in Nepal and winning an award for mentoring young people in Liverpool, Grace Belcher completed “three incredible years” with LJMU today.

9. Respect Always schools' competition winners experience graduation

   Primary and secondary school pupils have been recognised by LJMU’s Pro-Vice-Chancellor for demonstrating what respect means to them, and their school communities, as part of a creative competition.

10. Founders' Day dinner to mark LJMU 200

    Distinguished guests and friends of the university were invited to a Founders’ Day dinner at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral yesterday evening, Thursday 6 July, to commemorate LJMU’s Bicentenary.
