1. Join LJMU at Liverpool Pride 2024

   All students and staff are invited to join LJMU at Liverpool Pride on Saturday 27 July.

2. Menopause cafes throughout 2024

   This year we will once again host four menopause cafes for our staff, with the first taking place on Tuesday 16 January, and anyone wishing to attend can book via the staff wellbeing events page.

3. Healthcare framework proposed to improve health of ageing populations

   An LJMU researcher is part of an international team of researchers who have put forward a position statement, published in Science, which lays out a new healthcare framework to help ageing populations stay healthier for longer.

4. LJMU community takes to the streets for Liverpool Pride 2023

   Over 130 students, staff and alumni joined the Liverpool City Region Pride March at the weekend.

5. Dental plan for LJMU staff

   The scheme provided by Unum Dental is an insurance policy available to LJMU staff, apply by 31 Jan 2024.

6. 135 students graduate from global partner Westford University College

   Over 135 students have graduated this March at a ceremony in Dubai.

7. Menopause cafe to mark World Menopause Day

   Join us on Wednesday 18 October as we mark World Menopause Day and host our final staff cafe of the year.

9. July is Disability Pride Month

   July marks the celebration of Disability Pride month. An opportunity to raise awareness and have positive conversations about disability in study and the workplace.

10. Chair and Panel Member Briefing Sessions

    Three in-person sessions are being offered in Exchange Station for academic colleagues who wish to become a Validation/Periodic Programme Review chair or panel member.
