4. Major new joint research project will focus on mental health of jockeys and staff in the horse racing industry

   LJMU, Racing Welfare and the BHA will be carrying out a major new piece of research into the provision of mental health services across horse racing.

   Liverpool Health Commission, an independent panel established by Liverpool John Moores University, with research expertise and support provided by the university, has been set up to investigate and analyse health care policy issues.
