2. MSc student takes on role as Juror for 2024 Eurovision Song Contest

   LJMU Audio and Video Forensics Masters student and Music Producer, Brian Sheil was selected as a juror for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final, which was held in Malmo, Sweden, on Saturday 11 May.

   LJMU’s Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Team in collaboration with the LJMU LGBTIQ+ Staff Network, presented an opportunity for all LJMU staff, students and members of the local community to attend this year’s Lesbian Gay Bisexual Trans (LGBT) History Month Event (2019).

4. Supporting our charity partner Claire House through the Mowgli Dog Show 2025

   LJMU to sponsor this year’s charity dog show, developed by Chancellor Nisha Katona, in aid of a local children’s hospice.

   LJMU Nautical Science graduate Robert Bellis has been named Maritime & Coastguard Agency Trainee Officer of the Year 2016, receiving his award from Shipping Minister John Hayes MP.

10. Empower the Next Generation: Host a Work Experience Placement

    This May, June or July, the Diversity and Inclusion team is looking for staff and teams to host local pupils in year 10, 11 and 12 for work experience placements at the university.
