   22 universities, including Liverpool John Moores University and JMSU have pledged to develop a Student Futures Manifesto joint action between a university and its students to improve the student experience.

4. Careers advice for students and graduates with a disability, are neurodiverse or have a long term health condition.

   LJMU students and graduates attended a virtual careers event to give them advice on their future careers.

5. Journalism students help to create poignant police memorial

   LJMU students have been praised for their work on a unique collaboration with the UK Police National Memorial.

6. New Online Development Resources for LJMU Staff

   Two new online modules on Resilience and Appraisals are available from the Learning and Development Foundation

7. LJMU students help refugees at the Polish/Ukrainian border

   MA Wildlife Conservation students Vanessa Grundy, 27 and Alex Donnelly, 27 along with Vanessa's brother Mike Grundy are currently at the Poland-Ukraine border helping refugees get to safe accommodation in Krakow, and further across Europe, following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

8. Academic Registry Roadshows

   Informal one-hour breakfast sessions open to all academic staff who want to learn more about the support available to them from Academic Registry.

9. Changes in Core Café opening times: Tuesday 31 October

   Due to the passing of one of LJMU’s much loved catering team members, there will be several changes to Core Café opening hours across the day on Tuesday 31 October
