   Research and Innovation Services (RIS) will be holding an informal networking breakfast event, Coffee and Croissant, at Byrom Street, MTC Social Zone on Thursday 4th April from 8.15am – 9.30am.

   More than 120 staff from across the university attended an engagement workshop on prioritising the student experience.

3. Level 5 and Level 6 students - share your views for a chance of winning £100

   Could you spare a few minutes to complete a survey about your studies? The UK Engagement Survey (UKES) is a national survey asking students to comment on your engagement with different kinds of learning activities.

4. Campaign highlights the success stories of first in their family students to attend university

   Among the 100 people featured in the campaign is Malik Al Nasir, an author, poet and academic from Liverpool who studied new media production at LJMU.

   The final Roscoe Lecture of LJMU’s Bicentenary year was met with a rousing standing ovation at St George’s Hall.

   Students can sign up for Freshers 22 activities or staff can make a group booking for their programme.

   Paul Carreon, who is currently researching Huntingtons Disease at LJMU, explains how ecstatic he was to be awarded a PhD scholarship and how you can apply for one too.

8. Project Harpocrates scholarship for police staff seeking a career in covert investigations and intelligence

   The police staff, drawn from Nottinghamshire Police, West Midlands Police and British Transport Police, secured the scholarship opportunity under an initiative known as Project Harpocrates. The project seeks to support law enforcement efforts to recruit and retain staff in the highly specialist area of covert operations and specialist intelligence.  Whilst the project was open to all officers one of the specific aims of the project is to increase the representation of  Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic staff (BAME)  in this challenging and exciting area of investigation and intelligence management.

10. Improving PGT student identity and their experience through understanding their expectations on entry – the findings from an 11 University HEFCE funded project

    The seminar will provide an opportunity for exploration through some of the findings from the HEFCE funded project.
