1. UKRI open access monograph funding changes

   A reminder that UKRI has recently announced their guidance and requirements with regards to publishing open access monographs, which come into place from 1 January 2024.

2. LJMU policy updates December

   New policy on sustainable food systems and changes to the environmental, energy and sustainability management statement.

3. Data protection related policy updates

   Four data protection related policies have been updated and can now be found on the LJMU Policy Centre.

4. Admissions Policy update

   The LJMU Admissions Policy has recently undergone some minor amendments and the updated version can be found in the Policy Centre.

6. Expressions of interest welcomed for multiple Academic Board vacancies

   The Secretariat is now seeking expressions of interest from eligible LJMU staff to serve on the Academic Board and to take up their roles in September.

7. LJMU reveals digital image bringing people face to face with Seventeenth Century Scottish soldier

   LJMU’s Face Lab has unveiled a digital reconstruction of the face of a Seventeenth century Scottish Soldier whose body was discovered at a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013.
