Niamh is a professional footballer and was in the history making Lionesses squad, the England women’s football team, that made it to the final of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. She’s an alumna from our School of Sport and Exercise Sciences and was supported during her studies as a Sports Scholar.
This study will enable two mental health trusts across Cheshire and Merseyside to review eight A&E departments’ hospital data for patients who attend in suicidal crisis.

Dr Carol Cox is a former police officer who now heads up higher education’s most successful unit for higher skills in policing in England, the Liverpool Centre for Advanced Policing Studies, part of our School of Justice Studies. Carol always wanted to help in the community and has an unshakeable belief in the power of education.
